Made in Germany
Meet Götz Graf von Bülow, the acting head of the forestry department for the district of Tübingen. In the video, he talks about sustainable forestry in the Schönbuch region and the excellent cooperation with Röwa.
Made in Mössingen
Rössle & Wanner GmbH has been exclusively producing in Mössingen at the foot of the Swabian Alb since 1996. And even though we have long been moving in international circles, our dedication to our roots and region has grown for many reasons.
Thanks to regional production, we can not only meet extremely high quality standards and benefit from the advantages of Baden-Württemberg as an industrial pillar. Our location’s proximity to nature makes for very short transport routes and allows us to cooperate closely with the regional forestry industry. Together, we work to continuously tend to and replant the forest. For Röwa, transparent, regional production means a high degree of sustainability.
Beech wood: infinitely valuable
Solid beech wood is and remains one of our most important materials. Its qualities are second to none. Close at hand (thus reducing energy costs and transport distances), it can be processed in a number of ways. What's left over of this valuable material is used to generate power at our in-house thermal power station. This is Röwa’s way of making sustainability a reality.
We are thankful and proud when we look out of the window, looking at "our" trees: the richly wooded hills of the Swabian Alb. Companies need a home, even if they move in international circles. Anyone who visits our factory can sense that we are at home in Mössingen.
