Röwa Lattenroste und Unterfederung
Slatted Base or Spring Base – The Foundation for Restful Sleep
A slatted base—sometimes called a slatted frame in certain designs—ensures a comfortable sleeping position. Restful sleep requires more than just a good mattress. Sleeping comfort begins with the slatted base that supports the mattress. A good slatted frame is characterized above all by ideal support for the entire body, the ability to adjust the firmness level, and the smallest possible spacing between the individual slats. Stable and flexible, the Röwa slatted frame remains by your side in every stage of life—well into old age. Its slats are glued together at least seven times, making them particularly robust and guaranteeing the slatted frame’s unique and long-lasting ergonomic design. RÖWA uses beech wood from regional forests and collaborates with the local forestry industry. We offer slatted bases in various sizes and dimensions ranging from 70 x 200 to 140 x 220 cm.
Slatted bases play a major role in sleep comfort and are an integral part of a functional bed or sleep system. It’s not just the mattress that ensures a restful night’s sleep—the slatted base is just as important. Slatted bases ensure that a mattress’s flexible properties are supported as effectively as possible and are not restricted by a rigid base. The slatted base influences the firmness of a mattress, provides cushioning, and ensures ventilation. We offer 5-zone slatted bases, 7-zone slatted bases, and adjustable slatted bases with individually and manually adjustable headboards & footboards, backrests, or with a lift mechanism. Electrically adjustable slatted frames with 7-zone motorized frames (electrically adjustable head, back, and foot sections) are controlled using a wireless remote. The back, head, and leg sections can be electrically adjusted and set with a power-off function.
Röwa slatted bases are made from locally sourced beech wood, making them extremely sturdy and durable. They are finished with natural linseed oil. The slatted bases are designed to complement the mattresses, forming a cohesive system. The best slatted base is the Röwa—the original.
Slatted frames ensure a relaxed sleeping position and help counteract the daily strain on your back while you sleep! The slatted frame, so to speak, lays the foundation for a restful night’s sleep. At the same time, thanks to its design, the slatted frame ensures good ventilation of the mattress and thus a healthy sleeping environment. If you toss and turn frequently at night, the slatted base helps stabilize the mattress and provide comfortable support. The mattress stays where it belongs and doesn’t slip within the bed frame.
Just like the mattress, the slatted base should be tailored to your personal needs. The slatted frame should always provide adequate support for your body. To complement multi-zone mattresses, there are slatted frames featuring multi-zone technology that can be individually adjusted. The different support zones provide optimal support for various parts of the body and stabilize the spine. Slatted frames are available in all standard bed sizes.
Non-adjustable slatted bases are a classic choice and form the foundation for a restful night’s sleep. Slatted bases with adjustable head, back, or foot sections offer luxury-class sleeping comfort. You can choose a slatted frame tailored to your individual needs—one that can be adjusted exactly as you need it, whether that’s just the head section, the head and foot sections, or the head, back, and foot sections. You can also choose between manually or even electrically adjustable slatted frames.
